President Xi Jinping welcomed King Felipe VI to China, and noted that both China and Spain have profound historical and cultural heritage. Over the past 50-plus years since the establishment of diplomatic ties, the two sides have always viewed and developed bilateral relations from a strategic height and long-term perspective, respected and supported each other, and contributed to each other’s success. This has set a model of pursuing amicable ties and common development by countries with different history, culture and social systems, and played an important role in promoting openness and cooperation in the world and upholding international fairness and justice.

China is ready to enhance strategic synergy with Thailand, steadily advance cooperation on major projects such as the China-Thailand railway, increase imports of Thailand’s high-quality agricultural products, and expand cooperation in emerging areas including artificial intelligence, digital economy, aviation and aerospace, so that more cooperation benefits can be delivered to both peoples.
中方愿同泰方加强战略对接，稳步推进中泰铁路等大项目合作，扩大进口泰国优质农产品，拓展人工智能、数字经济、航空航天等新兴领域合作，让两国人民从中泰合作中获得更多实利。
